If you’re under 18 and have been bereaved by suicide, we regret that we cannot offer you direct support. Get in touch with one of these organisations that have a presence locally.

Kooth – Kooth is a free, safe and anonymous site that offers confidential support to young people in Cumbria aged 10-18. They offer online counselling, community support and a range of self help tools. They are staffed by fully trained and qualified counsellors who are available until 10pm each night, 365 days per year.

Winston’s Wish – the leading childhood bereavement charity and the largest provider of services to bereaved families in the UK.  They have specialist expertise in supporting children bereaved by suicide and they also have a site for young people.

Child Bereavement UK (Cumbria) – provides support and information across Cumbria to bereaved children up to the age of 25 and their families at a number of children’s centres. Young people and their families can contact them by phone on 01539628311 or email cumbriasupport@childbereavementuk.org.
