Suicide Bereavement Support (SBS) is a charity (pending approval by the Charity Commission) and we depend on the generosity of people like you to help us do our work, helping the individuals, families and communities throughout Cumbria to grieve and find a way forward after a suicide. Detailed below are various ways in which you can donate.


Fundraising Events

If you would like to nominate Suicide Bereavement Support as your charity when taking part in fundraising events then please complete the Fundraising Form and return to hello@sbs.org.uk. We would be extremely happy in helping you with your fundraising efforts by promoting you on our website and social media.


Arrange a Funeral Collection

Say a fond farewell to your loved one by holding a funeral collection and you’ll make sure your loved one’s memory lives on through the work of Suicide Bereavement Support. Arranging a collection is very easy. You can do it through a collection box or envelopes or by telling friends and family about the donation methods below.  Please contact us or speak with your funeral director if you'd like any further advice.


The Giving Machine

If you shop online, you can make a free cash donation to Suicide Bereavement Support with every purchase if you join www.TheGivingMachine.co.uk. It’s really simple, you enter your favourite shops via TheGivingMachine and a percentage of your shopping bill is converted into a cash donation for SOBS Cumbria, at no extra cost to you.
