Bugfixes:

  • Choppers must be below 30m to count as within zone (for capturing)
  • Sounds working again (base capture, base loss etc)
  • Trimmed out some cut messages that were creating errors in the arma report file
  • Reduced base capture sound size (and made sound work) 9KB -> 2KB
  • Reduced flag sizes 11KB -> 3KB
  • Trimmed out unneeded script
  • Made briefing work (now using diary entries from ClientMainThread.sqf)
  • Adjust max range for display of green name tags

New Features:

  • Toggle green name tag overlay, and admin comments to force off/force on

Balance:

  • Attack chopper and some amphibious vehicles for blues in Skalisty landing
  • Some changes to tank models on various maps
V0.4 Beta 08 (RELEASED)

Bug fixes:

  • better spawn armour (protects you from being killed just after you spawn)
  • New Improved HUD
  • New "team membership system", to auto-colour your team mates.
  • Dozens of other improvements.

New features:

  • Brand new AAS game engine
    • ability to have any number of capture zones
    • can have neutral capture zones
    • can have simultaneous capture zone objectives
    • innovative "battle front" system to focus gameplay depending on number of players in server
  • Medic revive system replaced by brand new system
  • Brand new respawn and queuing code code
    • no more spawn buttons not appearing after dead
    • no more failing to spawn when in queue
    • no more getting stuck dead (cant even quit game)

New maps:

  • 9 new maps from BCA, with thanks to Cat Toaster, Lord and Maverick
  • A set of 7 new template maps showing off the new features!
  • More amazing maps to come using new AAS engine
V0.41 Beta 09 22nd November
(RELEASED)

New features:

  • New kit system, graphical selection menu for classes, rifles and teams
  • Expansion from 50 to 64 player support
  • Ability to restrict soldier kits and armoury contents for tournament play
  • Ability to customise rules for own server play using "RULES" system
  • Bonus player vehicles (off by default, enabled only by game admin, gives each team a vehicle which behaves like extra player for zone capturing)
  • More brand new maps using the very latest zone templates and features
V1.0 Release 1st January 2010
  • New feature freeze
  • Release will be polished, bugfixed, heavily tested version of the previous beta
